Formed in 2005, Al Blankenship Enterprises (also called ABE) has 30+ years of experience and is one of the largest concrete subcontractors in the East Tennessee area. ABE provides concrete services for both commercial contractors and residential customers and has expanded to excavation services and ready-mix concrete products in the last 5 years.

The company can take a project from start to finish including demolition of existing concrete, excavation of earth, forming the structure outline, and pouring and finishing the end product. Al Blankenship, lead of the team, has 30+ years of experience working with concrete. Anthony Graham, Project Quality Control Manager, has 25+ years of experience. They lead a team of approximately 90 employees performing work throughout East Tennessee and the immediately surrounding areas.

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Our History

Al Blankenship Enterprises, LLC was formed with a total of 4 workers to perform residential concrete projects.

2005

2006

ABE began forming and pouring commercial concrete projects as a subcontractor with one crew.

ABE continued to grow in both the residential and commercial concrete space, consistently adding crews and growing to 40-45 workers.

2007- 2019

2020

ABE Excavating, LLC opened for business as a complementary business to ABE for land excavation and utilities installation for industrial parks and residential/commercial developments.

ABE Concrete, LLC opened for business with 3 concrete drum trucks, hauling concrete to commercial and residential jobs for Al Blankenship Enterprises and other local general contractors with a mission of providing quality concrete and timely deliveries for local finishers.

2022

2023

ABE Concrete, LLC began producing concrete at its own facility.

The AB Enterprise now consists of approximately 90 total employees.

2024
